Configuration of the rights for SC_NAV2009User (it is a user who is running the Microsoft Dynamics NAV Service):

Step 1: Open SQL Management Studio.

Step 2: Go to 'Security -> Logins' and click on the SC_NAV2009User login properties.

Step 3: In the 'User Mapping' section set the '$ndo$navlistener' value in the 'Default Schema' field for the appropriate user of the Microsoft Dynamics NAV database. Now you need to allow your users the access to the Microsoft Dynamics NAV database:

Step 1: Open the Microsoft Dynamics NAV Classic client and connect to the NAV administration with credentials that have enough rights to allow access to other users (the 'Super' or 'Security' role). Ask your system administrator, if you do not have access yourself.

Step 2: Go to 'Tools -> Security -> Windows' logins and enter the user account (with domain name!) that has been chosen as 'SC_Webuser' in an empty row.

Step 3: Click the 'Roles' button at the bottom, lookup the 'SС-User' role and select it. The 'SC-User' role is provided by Sana Commerce.
For more information about the roles please read this chapter.

The next step is to configure the Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 services properly. In order to do this:

Step 1: Open the Windows 'Services' console.

Step 2: Select 'Microsoft Dynamics NAV Server' service and open its preferences.

Step 3: Choose 'This account', click the 'Browse' button and specify the 'SC_Nav2009User' for the 'Log on as' option on the 'Log On' tab:

Step 4: Select 'Microsoft Dynamics NAV Business Web Services' service and open its preferences.

Step 5: Choose 'Automatic' from the 'Startup' dropdown list on the 'General' tab.

Step 6: Choose 'This account', click the 'Browse' button and specify the 'SC_Nav2009User' for the 'Log on as' option on the 'Log On' tab.

Both services are required to be started under the same user 'SC_Nav2009User' .

After finishing the configuration you should restart the services in the following order: the first is the 'Microsoft Dynamics NAV Server' and the second is the 'Microsoft Dynamics NAV Business Web Services'.

After completing the steps described earlier it is recommended to check the System application events in the Windows 'Event Viewer' in order to be sure that the services were started successfully.
