Requested page is not in the provider filter.

In any module it is possible to refresh the site cache on the frontend of the application. Refreshing is needed in order to make a content change visible in the webshop. 

 

Caching is applied to all pages on the frontend in order to achieve a better frontend performance. Also specific pages are cached, for example a product page with customer specific prices. By default the duration of this cache is 15 minutes; after 15 minutes it expires automatically.

 

The advantage of caching is that the cache is retrieved from the web server memory. The data retrieval on the web server memory is faster compared to a database or Microsoft Dynamics NAV / AX.

Click on the 'Refresh site cache' button on the left to refresh the cache:

 

 

 

A confirmation message will be shown when the cache on the frontend is refreshed. All the changes which have been made in the Sana Commerce backoffice are now visible in the webshop.

The table below shows how long the webshop cache is valid per module. Caching is applied in order for the webshop to have a better performance. These are default values and can be adjusted by your implementation partner. Keep in mind that the performance of your application will drop when the duration is set less. This is because the amount of calls to Microsoft Dynamics NAV / AX will increase, which is much slower then retrieving the cache.
