Import URL Redirects

Configure the Import URL Redirects Task

When the add-on is installed, you should be able to see a new scheduled task in Sana Admin, called Import URL redirects. For more information about scheduled tasks in Sana Admin, see 'Scheduled Tasks' on the Sana help site.

To import URL redirects into Sana:

Step 1: In Sana Admin click: Tools > Scheduled tasks.

Step 2: Find the Import URL redirects task and click Edit.

Step 3: Configure the Import URL redirects scheduled task.

The table below provides the description of the Import URL redirects task settings:

Settings	Description
Run on schedule	Use this option to enable automatic running of the Import URL redirects task according to the configured schedule or disable it to allow only manual start of the task. If you enable the option Run on schedule, you should enter either the time interval in minutes, when the task should run automatically, or the fixed time.
Run interval (in minutes)	Enter the time interval in minutes when the task should run automatically.
Run time	Enter the fixed time when the task should run automatically. For the fixed time, the date/time of the server is used.
CSV File	Upload the CSV file with URL redirects which should be imported into Sana.      The CSV file should be created beforehand. Download the CSV template and fill it in with URL redirects. For more information, see requirements to the CSV file in the next article.

Step 4: When the CSV file with URL redirects is ready, upload it into Sana. Save your changes in the Import URL redirects scheduled task.

Step 5: Run the Import URL redirects task. The task will import all URL redirects from the CSV file into Sana. When the URL redirects are imported, you can see them in Sana Admin. Click: Web pages > URL redirects.
