Catalog Data Visibility

In Dynamics 365 Enterprise Edition you can manage visibility of different catalog data. Catalog data which is set as invisible in Dynamics 365 Enterprise Edition will not be shown in the Sana webshop. You can show or hide:

• Products
• Product variants
• BOM components
• Product images
• Product and sales document attachments

You can manage visibility of the above mentioned data for each product individually in Dynamics 365 Enterprise Edition.

Imagine that you have thousands or even tens of thousands of products in Dynamics 365 Enterprise Edition and you need to show or hide some catalog data in the Sana webshop for a big amount of products at once. In order to simplify catalog management and not to manage each product individually there is an automated generic solution.

To manage visibility of catalog data in Dynamics 365 Enterprise Edition, click: Webshop > Common > Webshop catalog overview.

Use buttons at the top of the Webshop catalog overview window, under Product tab, to manage catalog data visibility.

When you add product images, product and sales document attachments or create bill of materials in Dynamics 365 Enterprise Edition, visibility of all this data is set to false by default. You can manage visibility of the above mentioned data for each product individually or you can make all product images and attachments as well as all bill of materials and BOM lines visible in webshop by clicking the buttons Set product images and attachments visibility and Set BOM visibility.

You can also show and hide all products and product variants or only those in a certain range by setting up filter criteria.
