Using the Error Log

The error log file stores all information about events which may appear while starting and running the SC project. The destination of the error log file is defined in the 'web.config' file of the 'Starter Site' project (read chapter 'Enable logging' for more information).

Each new event record is stored at the end of the log file, so you need to scroll down till you can see the most recent one.

Here is the example of an event record:

Timestamp: 9/1/2009 5:35:39 PM
