Install Sana Commerce on AX Environment

While preparing Microsoft Dynamics AX server environment the AX user was created. The appropriate role with a set of permissions was also assigned to the AX user. For more information, see 'Create AX User'.

After you have imported the Sana Commerce project to the Microsoft Dynamics AX administration, the Sana Commerce specific role appears - 'Sana Commerce webshop manager'. Therefore, this role should be also assigned to the AX user. This role allows the AX user to access the Sana Commerce tables.

To assign the 'Sana Commerce webshop manager' role to the AX user:

Step 1: Open Microsoft Dynamics AX client and go to: System administration -> Common -> Users.

Step 2: Open the AX user form and under the 'User's role' FastTab assign the 'Sana Commerce webshop manager' role to the AX user:
