How to Install a Language Pack

Language packs give you an opportunity to display the webstore interface in the language of your choice and flexibility to translate your webstore content into any installed language.

The language pack contains an additional language which can be installed into a Sana Commerce project.

To install a language pack:

Step 1: Copy the SanaTexts resource file from the language package to the following folder in the Sana Commerce frontend directory: Frontend\App_Data\SanaTexts.

Step 2: Copy the MailTemplates resource file from the language package to the following folder in the Sana Commerce frontend directory: Frontend\App_Data\MailTemplates.

Step 3: Copy the language icon from the language package to the following folder in the Sana Commerce frontend directory: Frontend\content\files\images\languages.

Step 4: Execute the Add language script.sql script on the Sana Commerce database.

In Sana Admin provide the content of the Web pages in the language installed with this language pack.

Navigation
Translate webstore navigation into the language installed with this language pack.
For information about webstore menus, see 'Navigation' on Sana online help.

In Sana Admin you can also translate the names of the shipping methods, payment methods and discount codes.

Enable language
When all the necessary webstore content is translated, enable the language. In Sana Admin click: Setup > Basics > Languages and select the Enabled check box.

When language pack is installed and the language is enabled in Sana Admin click: Tools > Refresh site cache.
