Install Sana Add-on in SAP Environment

There is a certain functional area that has to be customized in SAP system during installation of the Sana add-on which is SAP specific per customer and thus, is not included in the standard Sana add-on installation package. A customer and SAP Partner may decide to create those customizations from scratch by following the relevant internal business logic and the existing configuration. Otherwise, we can provide the pre-defined custom functions on demand that can be imported to your SAP system using the transport request file. When the custom functions are imported, you should decide which custom functions should be left out, while the relevant ones should be activated in your SAP system.

If you decide to re-use our specific custom functions instead of creating your own, these are the steps that you need to take:

Step 1: Basis Consultant should import transport customizations.

Step 2: System Admin/SD Consultant should check customizations (transaction SE10 to check the content of the transports).

Step 3: System Admin/SD Consultant should decide which customizations should be uploaded or left out (transaction STMS).
