Install NAV 2009 Web Services

Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 and web services should be already installed.
Please, make sure that the web services are also installed. This can be checked in the Windows 'Services' console (Start -> Run -> type 'services.msc'):

NAV 2009 Services

If for some reasons Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 with web services is not installed yet, you can read about how to do it here:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd301330.aspx

After you have installed Microsoft Dynamics NAV Server, configuration settings are stored in the 'CustomSettings.config' file. By default, this file is located in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics NAV\60\Service. If you have configured Microsoft Dynamics NAV Server during installation, then your settings are also included in this file.

In addition you should specify the time zone in which web service calls are running:

  • If your Sana version in Microsoft Dynamics NAV is 9.1.0, the value of the "WebServicesDefaultTimeZone" should be set to "Server Time Zone".
  • If your Sana version in Microsoft Dynamics NAV is 9.1.1 or higher, the value of the "WebServicesDefaultTimeZone" should be set to "UTC".
<add key="WebServicesDefaultTimeZone" value="UTC"></add>

If you need to set up multiple Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 Server services, the information about how to do this can be found in the 'Multiple NAV 2009 Server Services' chapter.
