Create GP User

In Microsoft Dynamics GP you need to create a user which is used to access GP and establish connection between Sana and GP.

To connect Sana to Microsoft Dynamics GP, you must use Active Directory User Account (Windows Account). Therefore, at first you must create an Active Directory User Account and then add it to Microsoft Dynamics GP.

The credentials of this user should be specified in the ERP connection settings in Sana Admin. Send the credentials of this user (username and password) to the person who is responsible for the Sana web store maintenance and who will connect the Sana web store to Microsoft Dynamics GP.

Sana uses Service Based Architecture (SBA) and Web services of Microsoft Dynamics GP to establish connection between Sana and GP. Web service calls use the credentials of a specific GP user (Active Directory User Account) to log in and use the business logic of Microsoft Dynamics GP. There is a know issue that Microsoft Dynamics GP cannot process concurrently several Web service calls using the same user. The Web service calls are generated faster than Microsoft Dynamics GP can process them. Sana provides a tool called Sana Orchestrator which can be used to work around this limitation. In this case you will need to create several GP users (Active Directory User Accounts) that will be used to process concurrently all Web service calls from Sana to Microsoft Dynamics GP. For more information, see "Install Sana Orchestrator ".
