Prepare SAP Environment

To run the Sana add-on in SAP Business One Cloud, the SAP user must be a Superuser with the Indirect Access User license. Due to SAP licensing mechanisms, it is required that this user is dedicated solely for the purpose of running the Sana add-on as this user is used to log in to SAP Business One Cloud and it communicates directly through the Service Layer. For more details on SAP licensing, please consult your partner.

The initial installation or upgrade of the Sana add-on in SAP Business One Cloud must be performed by the SAP user with a Superuser authorization and a Professional User license. Any changes to the core SAP settings leveraged by Sana should be performed by a user with such privileges.

To set up users in SAP Business One, click: Administration > Setup > General > Users.

You will also need to enter the credentials of this user while installing and configuring the Sana Web service for SAP Business One Cloud.
