Introduction

 NOTE

Opayo is the new name for Sage Pay. Sage Pay was acquired by Elavon - a big name in payments and a subsidiary of U.S. Bank.

The Opayo payment provider is available as an add-on. It can be installed from Sana Apps. In Sana Admin click: Apps > Add-ons.

It might happen that you don't have permissions to install Sana Apps, for example if you have a customized project or it was disabled by a web store administrator intentionally. In this case, you need to contact your Sana partner or project manager.

Opayo is a payment gateway that provides customers with a possibility to choose how they want to pay for purchases made in the web store.

Opayo allows merchants to make purchases via the Opayo payment system, by redirecting a customer to the Opayo payment page.

Opayo offers online shopkeepers an online cash register with a broad range of national and international online payment methods. Thanks to its wide variety of payment methods, Opayo Payment Services offer a suitable solution for any online store. The Opayo add-on for Sana does not support the local European payment methods.

 NOTE

When requesting the Opayo account, it is recommended to use an account which supports the hosted payment page redirection (Form integration). A merchant should buy the Opayo account with the same currency which is used in the Sana web store.

 NOTE

Opayo has four types of integration: "Form integration", "Server integration", "Server Inframe integration" and "Direct integration". Sana is integrated with Opayo using the "Form integration" option.

 NOTE

Sana supports the following payment methods for Opayo payment provider: Visa, Visa debit, Visa electron, Mastercard, Maestro, Amex, Diners' club. You are free to use any other payment methods of Opayo besides those supported by Sana, but you should test them by yourself beforehand and make sure that everything works as expected. You can use any other payment methods of Opayo that are not listed as supported by Sana at your own risk.
