Edit Order

Business customers and sales agents can edit sales orders and quotations directly in the Sana web store. Only those orders which were paid on account can be edited in the web store. Only those quotations which are not processed yet in SAP Business One and are not converted into sales orders can be edited in the web store.

 NOTE

Business customers and sales agents can edit an order or a quotation in the web store, only if its status is Open in SAP Business One.

When a customer edits the existing order or quotation in a Sana web store and then places it, the order or quotation confirmation e-mail will be sent to a customer with the latest order or quotation details.

The Edit Order Confirmation e-mail template is used to send the order confirmation e-mail to a customer. The Edit Quote Confirmation e-mail template is used to send the quotation confirmation e-mail to a customer. For more information, see "E-mails".

 NOTE

A confirmation e-mail with the latest quotation details is sent to a customer after a customer edits a quotation in a Sana web store starting from Sana 9.3.2.

To allow business customers and sales agents edit sales orders and quotations, in Sana Admin click: Setup > Ordering & checkout > Ordering. On the Ordering page you can enable the option Edit order for B2B customers and sales agents. For more information, see "Ordering & Checkout".

When a customer or a sales agent edits and places an order or a quotation in the Sana web store, the new order/quotation will be created in SAP Business One with the new order/quotation ID. The status of the original order/quotation will change to "Canceled" in SAP Business One. Customers cannot see such orders/quotations in the order/quotation history in the Sana web store, but only the new orders/quotations.
