Configure Payment Methods

Before you can use any payment methods, you need to request them. When you apply for the Sana Pay live account, you will be asked what payment methods you need so we can set up them for you. The necessary payment methods will be configured for you in the Sana Pay payment system. If it later turns out that you need any other payment methods, you can contact your Sana Commerce representative and ask to add them at any time. We will contact you if there are additional requirements before we can add the payment method to your merchant account.

Create Payment Methods in Sana Admin

When the necessary payment methods are added to your merchant account in the Sana Pay payment system and the Sana Pay payment provider is configured in Sana Admin, you need to set up the necessary payment methods in Sana Admin. Before configuring payment methods, check the list of supported countries and payment methods.

Step 1: In Sana Admin click: Setup > Ordering & checkout > Payment methods.

Step 2: On the Payment methods tab, create and configure the necessary payment methods.

For more information about how to create and configure payment methods in Sana Admin, see Online Payment Methods.

The table below provides description of the Sana Pay payment provider specific fields.

OneClick payment Web store visitors can store their credit card details, which can be used to initiate a one-click payment where the shop visitor only enters the CVC / CVV security code.

If this option is enabled, the Save for my next payment checkbox will be available on the Select payment method checkout step in the Sana web store. In this way, if the customer's credit card data is saved, then the next time a customer creates an order in the Sana web store and pays it through Sana Pay, he or she can use previously saved credit card information.

If this option is disabled, the Save for my next payment checkbox will not be available on the Select payment method checkout step in the Sana web store. A customer will not be able to save his or her credit card information and will have to enter it manually every time he or she creates the order in the web store and pays it through Sana Pay.

Merchants can see all payment transactions in the Sana Pay Customer Area.
