Install Sana Web Service for SAP B1

    This article provides a guide on how to install the Sana Web service for SAP Business One manually. Sana provides a PowerShell script which allows to install the Sana Web service in a fast and easy way. If for some reason you cannot install the Sana Web service using the automated procedure, you can do it manually.

Sana Commerce is integrated with SAP Business One via the Web Service implemented by Sana. The Sana Web services for SAP Business One is hosted in the Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager.

The Sana Web service should be installed on the SAP Business One server environment as it depends on the DI Server component.

Prerequisites:

  • Sana Web service for SAP Business One ('SapBizOneService'). It can be downloaded from the Sana Community web site.
  • Windows Authentication role service must be installed on the SAP Business One server environment.

To set up the Sana Web service for SAP Business One:

Step 1: Extract the files of the 'SapBizOneService' package to the folder where the Sana Web service should be installed.

Step 2: Open Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager.

Step 3: Create a website for the Sana Web service. Specify physical path to the folder where the files of the Sana Web Service for SAP Business One are located.

 

The application pool will be automatically created together with the website.

Step 4: When the website for the Sana Web service is created select it in IIS and switch to the content view.

Step 5: Right-click on the SapBizOneService.svc file and select Switch to Features View.

Step 6: From the IIS features open Authentication and enable Windows Authentication for the SapBizOneService.svc file, all other authentication types should be disabled.

When the Sana Web service is installed open it in the Web browser. If you can see the Web service information page, then Sana Web service has been installed successfully.

When the Sana Web service is installed on the SAP Business One workstation you should configure it.
