Maintain Retail Discounts

Sana Commerce AX Retail is available only for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3.

To be able to use the retail functionality of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 you need to enable it.

To enable AX Retail for Sana Commerce:

Step 1: In Microsoft Dynamics AX click: Webshop > Common > Webshops.

Step 2: Under the Retail FastTab select the Maintain retail discounts checkbox.

Before enabling retail discounts make sure that the selected store and products assortment are fully setup, and Retail is initialized in the retail parameters: Retail > Setup > Parameters > Retail parameters.

Step 3: Select the store in the Store number field and POS terminal in the Register number field.

Field Description
Maintain retail discounts This option is used to enable/disable AX Retail functionality for Sana Commerce.
Store number This dropdown is used to select a store. A retail store can be created at: Retail > Common > Retail stores. A retail store contains assortments and price groups that are assigned to it.
Register number This dropdown is used to select a POS terminal. A POS terminal can be created at: Retail > Setup > POS > POS registers. The POS register contains basic information and various control fields for terminal functionality. POS register should be assigned to a store: General > Store > Reference.
