Remote Debugging in AX

Configure Business Connector Debugging

Step 1: Open the 'Microsoft Dynamics AX Configuration' utility. It can be found at the following location: Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Configuration.

Step 2: Select from the 'Configuration Target' dropdown 'Business Connector (non-interactive use only)'.

Step 3: Click 'Manage' and select 'Create configuration…' to create a new configuration that allows debugging.

Step 4: In the 'Create Configuration' window type the configuration name and click 'OK'.

Step 5: On the 'Developer' tab check the checkbox 'Enable user breakpoints to debug code in the Business Connector'.

Step 6: Insert the development license code to the 'Development license code' and 'Confirm license code' fields and click 'Apply'.

Business Connector debugging is now configured.
