Setup Web and Database Server

ERP VPN/SSL

If the server environment running Sana and the server environment running ERP are not in the same network it is recommended to secure the data transfer between these environments.

This can be done in 2 ways, either setup VPN between the Web server and ERP server or setup SSL for the ERP Web service.

• If VPN is possible in the infrastructure, please make sure it is a VPN tunnel.
  
  
• If SSL is chosen to secure the ERP Web service, please make sure to be able to reach the Web service on the ports used by the Web service.
  Also if the SSL certificate is self-signed make sure this certificate is also added to the trusted root certificates on the Web server environment.
