Image Manager

To add an image to the product description (or any other content area) click on the

button of the HTML editor panel to open the 'Image Manager':

Now you can:

Insert images in the content area;
Upload new images, which will be available for inserting;
Delete images.

Uploaded images are stored in the folder which is specified in the 'web.config' file of the backoffice (you can read about this here).

The same image can be added to the different content items. When a content item is deleted, the related image will stay on the server.

By default the maximum size of an image allowed is 20 Mb. Supported image types are: *.gif, *.png, *.jpg, *.jpe, *.jpeg, *.bmp

After choosing an image and pressing the 'Insert' button this image will be added to the content area:

You can also add an image manually using HTML. Click on the

button on the HTML editor panel to open the HTML view. Enter here the following code:
<img alt="" src="/content/images/content/filename.jpg" />
