Sana Commerce 9.3
Your connector

Unable to Access SBO-Common Database

Component

SAP Business One

Symptom

This error may occur when you click "Test connection" in the ERP connection settings in Sana Admin to check connection between a Sana web store and SAP Business One:

"Unable to access SBO-Common database"

This error can be due to a number of different reasons. It often occurs because of the incorrect Web service configuration.

Possible reasons

  1. You entered the wrong license server address/database server. The license server/database server address must be always the same as what is entered in the SLD. Try to change it from an IP address to a host name or the other way round.
  2. The database user does not have read/write permissions to SBO-Common.
  3. The database type does not match the installed database version. For example, the installed database version is MSSQL 2014, but you selected MSSQL 2012 in the Web service settings.
  4. Incorrect user name or password of the SAP user or SQL user.
  5. The MSSQL Native Client or HANA ODBC driver is not installed.

If none of the above solves the issue, then install SAP Data Transfer Workbench (DTW) tool to test connection. If connection via this tool does not work, then contact SAP support or your SAP partner.
