NOTE

Sana introduces the new PayPal Checkout payment add-on formerly known as PayPal Express Checkout. Currently, the PayPal Express Checkout add-on is still available, but it will be replaced by the PayPal Checkout add-on in the near future. PayPal Express Checkout is integrated with Sana using the PayPal NVP API. This integration method is deprecated as of January 1, 2017. Therefore, we released the new PayPal Checkout add-on. We strongly recommend to set up the new PayPal Checkout add-on.

NOTE

The PayPal Checkout payment provider is available as an add-on. It can be installed from Sana Apps. In Sana Admin click: Apps > Add-ons.

It might happen that you don't have permissions to install Sana Apps, for example if you have a customized project or it was disabled by a web store administrator intentionally. In this case, you need to contact your Sana partner or project manager.

PayPal Checkout is a payment service provider which gives your customers a simplified and secure shopping experience. It is one of the most reliable and wide-spread payment gateways that helps to turn more regular customers to your web store and increase sales. PayPal Checkout is definitely for everyone who pays or gets paid.

PayPal Checkout is integrated with Sana using the REST API version 2.
