Scheduled Tasks

The scheduled tasks are used for running the Sana Commerce specific tasks in the background. They support multiple tasks that can be performed simultaneously.

The scheduled tasks can be started in the 'Settings -> Scheduled tasks' option by clicking the 'Start' button.


The 'Scheduled Tasks' Overview

The 'log' file can be viewed by clicking on the 'View last log' link. For example, when the task is failed the related log file can be used to see the reason of the failure.

If there are problems with reading the log files make sure that the user who runs the application pool for the backoffice has the 'read' permissions on the folder which is specified for the scheduled tasks in the 'web.config' file.

The 'Scheduled tasks' page is refreshed every minute automatically. You can also click the  button to refresh it manually.
