Item Prices Configuration

In Microsoft Dynamics NAV the product price is set on the item card.

To set a unit price:

Step 1: Open the necessary item card.

Step 2: Under the 'Invoicing' fast tab use the 'Unit Price' field to specify the price for which you actually sell the product to the customer if there is no sales unit price:

Set a Unit Price

Sales unit prices are used to promote products with lower prices.

To set a sales unit price:

Step 1: At the top of the item card click: Related Information -> Sales -> Prices:

Set a Sales Unit Price

Step 2: In the 'Sales Type' field you can define for whom the sales unit price should be set, for an individual customer, for a customer price group or for all customers.

For instance, if you want the sales unit price of a specific item to be shown only for an individual customer, then in the 'Sales Type' field select 'Customer' and in the 'Sales Code' dropdown select the customer account for whom the sales unit price should be set.

Step 3: Use the 'Unit Price' field to specify the sales unit price of an item.

Now, both prices, unit price and sales unit price, are set. If the sales unit prices for the items are set and both prices, unit price and sales unit price, should be shown in the webshop, then sales unit prices should be activated in the Sana Commerce backoffice.

To do this open the Sana Commerce backoffice and go to Settings -> Catalog. Activate the 'Action prices' option.
If the 'Action prices' option is not activated in the Sana Commerce backoffice, than only the sales unit prices (action prices) will be shown in the webshop. This is because when both prices are set in Microsoft Dynamics NAV, sales unit prices become actual prices.

When the sales unit prices are set and activated, both unit prices and sales unit prices, which are used for presentation of action prices, are shown together. The unit prices are of a red color and marked strikethrough.
