Sana AX Retail - Brings power to online retailing

Microsoft Dynamics AX for Retail offers a powerful, agile and simple solution to improve your retail operations. It enables you to optimize products promotion using flexible configuration tools that add support of the diverse functionality of pricing adjustments and discounts.

A tight integration between Sana Commerce and Microsoft Dynamics AX for Retail delivers a seamless online webshop experience fully leveraging Microsoft Dynamics AX for Retail.

Different kinds of discounts and price adjustments can give discounts in the form of fixed amount or percentage. Price adjustments and discounts can be applied to products, variants and product categories. When a customer views a product in the webshop and adds the product to the shopping basket, the price is automatically updated to reflect any price adjustments or additional discounts.

This Sana online help section provides the in-depth information about the core things which you need to know about discounts and price adjustments in Microsoft Dynamics AX for Retail.

 NOTE

Please note that Microsoft Dynamics AX Retail and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Retail functionality is also licensed by Sana. If you want to use the retail functionality of Microsoft Dynamics AX or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Retail such as price adjustments, various discounts, coupons and retail assortments, you must select the AX for retail add-on when you request the Sana license. Make sure that the retail add-on is included in your Sana license.

Only Sana Partners can request Sana licenses. If you are a customer, please contact your Sana Project Manager or Sana Partner.


 NOTE

Quote to order conversion is not available if the Retail functionality is enabled for Microsoft Dynamics AX. For more information, see "Order Processing".


 NOTE

Applies to: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3

The Retail functionality of Microsoft Dynamics AX is not supported for the order processing strategy that is optimized for large orders. For more information, see 'Order Processing'.
