Manage Text Items

Adding a Text Item 
Text items are all the texts that are displayed on the site. There are just a few fields that have to be filled when you want to add a new text item.
 

Group code

With a group code you can group multiple text items that have multiple languages, using a code. The group code also determines where the text is shown on the frontend.
Description The actual text that should be displayed.
Channels Select at the bottom of the page the channels on which the text items should be published by marking the checkbox in front of a channel name.
 
Adding a text item is only useful when you want to add a new text for a specific language. It is not possible to add a new text on a location on the front end where no text is present.
 
Managing Mail Content 
Mails in Sana Commerce are also Sana texts and can be multi-language (if needed). The Sana text can be found by entering a specific group code:

The following group codes should be used:

Note: The order mail exists of multiple Sana Texts. 
Order mail
Mail_OrderConfirmation

Change password
Mail_ChangePasswordTemplate
Note: The order mail exists of multiple Sana Texts. 
Contact us
Mail_ContactUsTemplate
Note: The order mail exists of multiple Sana Texts.
 
In the Sana text 'replace texts' are used. These can be recognized by the brackets in the text. These texts are replaced by external values and are also Sana Texts.
 
The values that are used can be found by searching on the following group code: 'ShopEmail', 'ShopName', 'ShopPhone'. These values are used in the entire site so when you change them it will be shown everywhere.
 

Editing a Mail Template 
 
The 'From address' of the mail cannot be changed manually. Please contact your solution provider to change this.
 
Also the contact form e-mail address cannot be changed manually. The e-mail address, to which the contact form information is sent, when it is completed and submitted by the customer, cannot be changed manually. Please contact your solution provider to change this.
