Troubleshooting

When a B2C customer is created on the frontend Microsoft Dynamics NAV automatically generates the new number for this customer using the 'Number series' functionality. This number is also given to the shop account, which is automatically created for this customer.

 

When a new shop account is created manually in the 'Shop Accounts' window ('Webshop -> Shop Accounts') it is very important to pay attention to the number format ('Code' field). In order to avoid any problems it is strongly recommended to type the number manually using the format, which is different from the formats specified in the 'No. Series' window (fields 'Starting No.' and 'Ending No.') for the customer table. Click 'Administration -> Application Setup -> General -> No. Series' to open this window.
