Item Variants Management

Step 1: In Microsoft Dynamics NAV click: Departments > Sales & Marketing > Inventory & Pricing > Lists > Items.

Step 2: Open the item for which the variants should be created.

Step 3: At the top click: Related information > Item > Variants.

Use the Item Variants table to create variants of an item, which for example vary in color.

This way you can set up one item with different variants instead of setting up each variant as a separate item.

Item variants can be made visible/ invisible in the webshop just like a regular item.

Item variants can be translated into different languages. Use Translations to translate item variants.

In the webshop the item variants are shown on the product details page. Item variants can be presented either in the matrix or dropdown display mode depending on the page layout.
