Customer's Currency Preference

The currency preference of a customer is retrieved from the customer's form. This is the case only for contacts and customers, but not for sales agents. When no currency preference is found the default currency is returned.

The default currency in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 can be set in the system parameters: System administration -> Setup -> System parameters:

Sales agents do not have their own currency preference. Their currency preference is determined by the customers whom they are representing.
