Making Items Visible in the Webshop
Items can be made invisible on the frontend of the webshop in NAV. To make an item visible in the webshop, go to 'Sales & Marketing > Inventory & Pricing' and click on 'Items'. Open an item card and check if the check box 'Blocked' in the 'General' tab is marked.

When you use NAV with the Pebblestone Fashion module, you should open the 'Fashion' tab and set the item status in the 'Item Status' field in order to change the item availability in the webshop.

Bill of Material
A Bill of Material (BOM) item can be made invisible just like a regular item. The only difference is that you also can set individual items inside the BOM on invisible.
  • Open an item card;
  • Click on the button 'Related Information -> Item' and choose for 'Assembly list' and 'Bill Of Materials'.
You now see an overview of all the items of which the BOM consists. You can exclude an individual item by selecting an item and clicking the 'Actions -> Delete' button.

Making Item Categories Visible
The 'Item Category Code' and 'Product Group Code' also can be made invisible on the frontend by clicking on the arrow next to the fields 'Item Category Code' and 'Product Group Code'. Place a checkmark (v or v) in the column 'Visible in webshop' in the appearing list to make an item category or product group visible.

Items added under this category are still visible; only the category is made invisible.

A translation for a category can be specified by clicking the 'Translations' button.

Managing Related Products
On the 'Product Detail' page related products can be shown. These related products can be divided into relation types, which can be configured in NAV. There is no limitation to the number of groups that can be created.

The related products are managed in the substitutions window.
Go to the item card, click on the 'Related Information -> Item' button and choose 'Substitutions'.

Managing Related Products in the Substitution Table

Explanation of the fields:

Field Description
Substitute No. Item code of the related product.
Description Name of the product.
Relation Type Number in which related group the product should be shown.
Sort No. The ranking on the product detail page from left to right.

When a new relation type is made for a product, it will be shown on the frontend (after publishing). The name of the relation will be automatically generated based on the number of the relation type that has been entered in NAV. The name also becomes a Sana text that can be managed in the backoffice (look for the group code: 'related').
