Substitute Items

This infomation is obsolete. Starting from Sana 9.3.1 you can use related items. Substitute items are still used in Sana 9.3.0.

Substitute items are used by Sana to add similar or related items, like accessories, or spare parts, and build relationship between the substitute items and the original item. These item relations are used for cross- and up-selling, or it can be also used to provide alternatives in case any of these items is out of stock.

To add substitute items in Microsoft Dynamics GP, open the item to which substitutes should be added and click Options.

Use the fields Substitute Item 1 and Substitute Item 2 to add substitutes to the item. You can add only two substitutes per item.

In the Sana webshop substitute items are shown on the product details page under the general product information.
