CVL Types

CVL (Controlled Vocabulary List) is a type of field in inRiver which is used to create lists.

There are two types of CVLs, the CVLs which are created directly in the inRiver Control Center and the CVLs built in code according to the specific rules by an inRiver developer. The latter are called Custom Value Lists, these CVLs are dynamic and they do not have IDs.

Sana supports both types of CVLs. The CVLs which are created directly in inRiver are mapped to Sana as an Enum entity type, as for Custom Value List CVLs, since they do not have IDs, they are mapped to Sana as a String entity field.
