Bill of Materials

A Bill of Material (BOM) item can be made visible/invisible just like a regular item. The only difference is that you can also make individual items inside the BOM visible/invisible:

Step 1: Open the 'Item' form and locate the necessary BOM item. On the 'Setup' tab you can make the BOM item visible/invisible. If you make the BOM item invisible, the items inside the BOM will be still visible.

Step 2: Click on the 'BOM' button and select 'Lines'.
You see an overview of all items of which the BOM consists. Make sure that the BOM item consists of the correct set of items and their quantity.
