How to Activate and Set Action Prices

In order to promote your products with lower prices the 'Action prices' option can be activated in the backoffice. Below you can find a brief description about pricing policy in the webshop.

There is a base sales price for each product which is the price you set for a product.  In order to promote your product with lower prices you can set the trade agreement sales price (action price) or create a price list and activate it. You can show or hide the action prices for all products by activating the 'Action prices' option, when the trade agreement sales prices are set.

The 'Action price' option can be activated in the backoffice at the following location: Settings -> Catalog.

When the 'Action prices' option is activated then the base sales prices and trade agreement sales prices are shown together. The base sales prices are marked strikethrough. The trade agreement sales prices are shown in bold font to the right of the base sales prices.
Only the base sales prices are shown for the products if the 'Action prices' option is not activated.

To set the trade agreement sales prices (action prices):

Step 1: Open the AX client.

Step 2: Go to: 'Inventory management -> Common Forms -> Item details' and select the item for which the trade agreement sales price should be set.

On the 'Price/Discount' tab in the 'Price' field the base sales price for an item can be set:

Step 3: Click on the 'Trade agrmt. -> Sales price' button to set the trade agreement sales price for an item. It can be set in the 'Price' field.

Use the 'Account code' column to select to whom (customer, group or to all) you need to apply the trade agreement sales price:

Please make sure that you set the trade agreement sales price lower or at least even to base sales price.

When you need to set the trade agreement sales price for a product with variants you can set the price for all product variants or for each variant independently.
