Credit Limit

Different businesses might have their own credit management needs. In SAP you can set up automatic credit checks. Credit management allows you to reduce the credit risk by setting up the credit limit for your customers. If a customer places an order which exceeds his or her credit limit set in SAP, a customer will see a warning alert in the shopping cart of the Sana web store.

Set up credit limit checks

At first you need to set up credit limit checks for a sales document type you are using. In SAP you can set up different sales document types for the Sana web store. For more information, see 'Order Type Mapping'.

Step 1: Call the transaction OVAK (Sales Order Type Assignment).

Step 2: Find the sales document type which you are using for the Sana web store and set up the appropriate credit limit check for it.
