Customer Assortment

Use the /SANAECOM/: Customer Assortment table to specify which products should be shown to the individual customers or customer groups or denied.

The table below provides the description of the fields in the /SANAECOM/: Customer Assortment table.

Field Description
Allow This indicator defines whether a certain material/material group will be visible/hidden in the web store for a certain customer/customer group.
Website ID Enter Sana web store ID. It should be exactly the same as the one specified during installation of the Sana web store on Web and database server and that is stored in the Sana database. Default: 'SanaStore'.

If you have multiple web stores, you can set up customer assortments for each Sana web store.

Customer Group Here you can define a customer group to which a certain material/material group should be visible/hidden in the web store.
Customer Number Here you can define a customer to which a certain material/ material group should be visible/hidden in the web store.
Product Number Here you can define a product number which should be visible/hidden in the web store for a certain customer/customer group.
Product Group Here you can define a productl group which should be visible/hidden in the web store for a certain customer/customer group.

All products which are added to the Customer Assortment table are customer specific. This means that they are shown in the web store only to the customers set in the customer assortment rules.

It is also possible to import customer specific assortments to the /SANAECOM/: Customer Assortment table from a CSV file. For more information, see 'Sana Data Upload'.

Limitation: If a customer or customer group is listed in any of the deny rules, the following customer/ customer group will not see a product/ product group from this rule, even if there is another rule which allows to see it.

For example, there is a customer group for which a certain material is denied. And there is another rule, set for an individual customer from this customer group that says that the product that is denied for the customer group is allowed for this specific customer from the group. In this situation the rule which allows to see the product for a specific customer from a customer group does not override the rule which denies a product to be shown to the customer price group. Therefore a customer still will not see a product.

In Sana Admin there are three customer assortment modes: Complete, Additional and Customer specific. For more information about customer assortment settings in Sana Admin, see 'Customer Assortments'.
