Alternative Items Mapping

In SAP cross selling is used to create alternative products.

Transaction codes

• Create cross-selling (VB41)
• Change cross-selling (VB42)
• Display cross-selling (VB43)

Use the /SANAECOM/: Alternative Items Mapping table to map data types to the condition types that are used for alternative items.

Alternative Items Mapping

Alternative items are used to add similar or related items, like accessories, and build relationship between the alternative items and the original item.

In the web store the alternative items are shown on the product details page, under the general product information. Alternative items can be shown by four in a group.

Alternative items can be grouped using the above mentioned types and shown in the web store.

By creating cross-selling (VB41) in the SAP system you can build a relationship between the alternative items and the original item.
